Without service of process, there can be no process. Easy for the layman, but it’s as true as the oaths that are sworn upon in courthouses around the world everyday. When the United States was founded the constitution said that “everyone is entitled to the due process of law, therefore the process server is “serving” the serve with their constitutional right to the due process of law.”

The United States Federal Rules of Civil Procedure states “The court may direct that service be effected by a US marshal, deputy, or other person or officer specially appointed by the court for that purpose” The plaintiff or attorney representing the plaintiff may hire a private process server, this private party acts as an officer of the United States Judicial System.

With the above stated law of the United States Judiciary System, DPS is serious about the service of process. Not only are we working for you, we are “officers” of the United States Supreme Court.

Lastly, our court system is extremely diligent and meticulous about all citizens including court officers living up to our word. We see everyday in court rooms where judges either throw people in jail or fine them heavily for NOT living up to their word.

The business principles of service that were created in the developing process for DPS were modeled to include the same diligence & meticulousness as that of our court system. Thus our simple, easy to understand mission statement was born;

“We Do What We Say We’re Going To Do”
